Assessments & Tools

We selectively use a variety of assessments and tools in our work. We are familiar with many of the most widely used assessment instruments and can generally adapt to your organization’s standards, if necessary.  We have used: The Leadership Circle suite of products, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Thomas Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument, FIRO-B, Birkman, Hogan, Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), OPM 360, StrengthsFinder, EQi (Emotional Intelligence), and many others.

Personalized Toolkits
Over time, we have amassed a wealth of business and management knowledge.  We have created and collected the most useful articles and tools and converted them into an electronic toolkit that can be tailored for each client's needs. Clients take our base toolkit (a .pdf portfolio) and add their own content, make notes, and reflect on their ongoing progress.
Rather than a dusty binder on a shelf, they have a personalized portable reference that can be accessed from multiple devices they are already using.

Leadership Development
Whenever it makes sense for a particular client or situation, our preference is to use The Leadership Circle as it provides an opportunity to leverage an integrated framework to assess a team’s leadership culture and the individual team members’ part in shaping that culture. The instruments described below may be used separately or together.

The Leadership Circle Profile™ (TLCP)
The Leadership Circle Profile is a true breakthrough among 360 degree assessments. It is the first to connect a well-researched battery of competencies with underlying motivations and habits of thought. It reveals the relationship between patterns of action and the internal assumptions that drive behavior.

Powerfully Insightful Read of Your Leadership Culture
The Leadership Culture Survey (TLCS) identifies the gap between your current culture and your desired one. It also measures how the leadership culture within your organization and/or team compares to that of other organizations. It fits seamlessly with The Leadership Circle Profile because it is built from the same framework as TCLP. TLCS creates a very compelling rationale for change. It is very affordable, internet based, user friendly, and the results are downloadable.
